Location: Brooklyn NY, USA
Program: Renovation of 1,000 sf Apartment
The project transfers the contents and memories of a 4,000 sf single family house in the suburbs into a 1,000 sf 8th floor apartment in the city. The apartment provides nooks for objects of significance, and crannies for objects of the everyday. The dumbbell layout of the existing apartment allows for a long 40 ft corridor that transforms the previously unusable circulation zone into storage as well as exhibition space.
