The project transfers the contents and memories of a 4,000sf single family house in the suburbs into a 1,000sf 8th floor apartment in the city. The apartment provides nooks for objects of significance, and crannies for objects of the everyday. The dumbbell layout of the existing apartment allows for a long 40ft corridor that transforms the previously unusable circulation zone into storage as well as exhibition space.
